October Fun in Newport!

New England in the Fall is reason enough to visit our beautiful town of Newport, but we at Lands End Limousine thought we would take a moment to share some of the special upcoming events to enjoy in October.

October 1
Third Annual Fort Adams Antique Festival
The 3rd Annual Fort Adams Antiques Festival is a benefit for Fort Adams Trust. Presented and managed by Ferguson & D'Arruda Antiques, Providence, RI. Dealers will be offering a wide range of items. Appraisers will be on-site during the afternoon. Early buyers 8am-10am. General public 10am-5pm. Food and beverages available for purchase.

Breakfast in the Barnyard
Spend the morning getting up-close and personal with Coggeshall Farm Museum's heritage livestock. Participants will join one of the museum's costumed interpreters to help with the morning chores while learning what makes Coggeshall Farm's animals so special. After the chores, return to the farmhouse for a breakfast of 1790's Jonnycakes. 9am-10:30am. $8.00 for Adults; $5.00 for Seniors and Children (6-12); Children under 5 Free.

Greenvale Vineyards Live Jazz Saturdays
1pm-4pm. Greenvale will host live jazz musicians in their restored Stable turned Tasting Room. Event includes wine tasting, tours, and wine by the glass. Picnics and friendly dogs are welcomed!

HarborFest: A Waterfront Block Party HarborFest features beats and bites and a harborfront celebration of the harbor as we bid farewell to summer and welcome the fall.

Bricks & Sticks: Newport's Architectural History Walking Tour 
HarborFest features beats and bites and a harborfront celebration of the harbor as we bid farewell to summer and welcome the fall.

37th Annual Harvest Fair
An old-fashioned autumn Fair with crafters, food, games, animals, hay rides, mud pit, and monkey bridge. 

Antje Duvekot
Singer/songwriter. $22 advance/$25 day of show. Show starts at 8pm. Doors open at 7 for the pre-show "folk tail-gate party". 

October 2
Newport Craft Show
Artisans from around New England will be displaying their crafts for purchase. Some of the items will be hand made knitted sweaters, silk scarves, jewelry, candles, soap, hand bags, clothing, mazes, puzzles, stained glass, christmas ornaments and so much more... We will be collecting donated items for the Potter League Shelter. Please help us by bringing cat & dog toys, food, treats, paper towels and blankets.

October 3
Rogues & Scoundrels History Walking Tour
See where scoundrels lived, where pirates profited and where criminals were put on trial and punished. Find out why this colony was known as "Rogue's Island." Reservations requested. $12 per person.
